Steve Grace, Partner/Technical Director
As Technical Director, Steve’s greatest assets are emphasized
in his ability to conceptualize the big picture and funnel the details of complex projects
together into a laser-focused effort. Steve is skilled in a surplus of creative mediums
including print, web, multimedia, branding, writing, and much more.
Steve is a “local” resident of the charlotte area
having lived in and grown up with the community since 1984.
His wife, Leah and two dogs Peanut and Buddy reside in the thriving Dilworth area
and enjoy all the benefits of urban living.

Julio Colmenares, Partner/Creative Director
As Creative Director, Julio is a master at integrating strategy and creative,
and matching in-house talent to client needs. He is fluent in multi-cultural communication,
and able to manage a diverse and complex slate of projects.
Julio earned his degree in graphic design from Instituto de Diseño de Caracas, Venezuela.
He began his career as a graphic designer in Caracas, Venezuela
where he did agency work for L’Oreal Cosmetics.
From designer and creative director for bi-lingual newspapers and magazines,
to environmental design for an architecture firm, to his current role at CGR,
Julio brings the expertise, experience, and enthusiasm necessary to lead our company,
and serve our client base well into the future.
When Julio isn’t working or spending time at home with his wife, Veruska
and new son, Julian Andres, he can be found on the golf course
or playing a serious game of dominos. He is also a Board Member
for the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte
and Chair of the Marketing Committee.
Jason Ramsey, Partner/Lead Designer
As lead Designer, Jason is casual, laid back, and a man of few words – spoken words that is.
When it comes to design, Jason comes through loud and clear.
The sheer volume of work he produces, in spite of demanding constraints and deadlines
is unrivaled in the industry. Jason has honed his craft to be able to meaningfully communicate...
quickly and is a mainstay at CGR. By the way, he’s been with the team at CGR
since graduating with honors (Top Designer) from King’s College.
Jason likes to spend time with his wife, Christina and baby boy, William Talen
who was born on July 4th, 2007. He can be found working out at the Martial Arts University,
taking care of his dogs, Hemmy and Luca, and watching movies.
Some of the influences in his life are Michael Godard, Christian Lassen, Paul Rand,
Emily Hefley, and Milton Glaser.
